EDDY

One of our saxophonists, Eddy’s musical journey, is a testament to his dedication and talent. Graduating from the prestigious Trinity College of Music in the United Kingdom in 2004, Eddy has since achieved Grade 8 in Vocal (Merit) from the Associated Board of the Royal School of Music in 2011. His academic prowess extends to Grade 5 in Theory (2004) and Grade 7 in Piano (2008) from UCSI University, Malaysia. He also holds a Foundation in Music (Diploma) and a Bachelor of Music (Hons.) in Contemporary Music, majoring in Contemporary Voice, from Birmingham Conservatoire, United Kingdom.

A Symphony of Performances

Eddy’s performance portfolio is as impressive as his academic achievements. He has graced stages at the World Beer Festival and the Marlboro Gold Launching Event. In 2012, he performed at the KL International Jazz Festival with the DBKL Big Band as one of the saxophonists, showcasing his exceptional talent. Eddy also took part in the Symphony Ariani Lebaran in 2017, performing alongside renowned artists like Dato’ Siti Nurhaliza, Anuar Zain, Misha Omar, Jaclyn Victor, and Aida Jebat.

Since 2019, Eddy has been sharing his wealth of knowledge and passion for music as an instructor at Bentley Music Academy to this date. His commitment to nurturing the next generation of musicians is evident in his teaching.
